Growing up, I have always been the type of kid that aspired to help people. Back then, I was driven by the hope of receiving praise for my actions. Now, I work to inspire others, especially the younger generations. I want people to understand that they are capable of achieving anything they set their mind to.
For those of you who do not know me, I play softball at Texas State University. Saying this, I obtain lots of knowledge regarding the recruitment process and managing the balance of academics and athletics. Being a member of college athletics can be very intimidating, but it is what you make it. In reality, you have two choices. You can fall into the pressure, or you can embrace it. You are in control of your destiny. My goal is to share my knowledge on how I handle this chapter of my life and be a source for younger girls aspiring to live the collegiate softball dream.
I do have dreams of my own. Of course. I want to make an impact. My dream is to become a Registered Nurse in an emergency room setting, specializing in trauma work. Being a nurse, I believe, is one of the most underrated positions in the work force. This occupation requires you to be selfless, compassionate, diligent, empathetic, and so much more in order to give patients the care they need. I am enchanted with the opportunity of being handed precious lives to protect and save. This dream correlates with why I started this blog. If I can impact just one life with my words, I would be making this dream a reality.
All in all, I just wanted to start this journey off by saying you matter. Don't let your struggles or doubts get in the way of you becoming the best version of yourself. I will be sharing my experiences for your success. Feel free to take advantage of my writings that will encompass a wide variety of topics and, hopefully, they will help guide you to finding and/or verifying your purpose in life.
